8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS.
Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 07/19/2022. There were 60 children, ages 3 months-12 years, and 16 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, staffing and supervision, physical plant, programs, emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed in the following: during movie time, in free choice play, going outside to play and during lunch. A total of 6 children?s records, 6 staff records and 6 medications were reviewed. The inspector discussed the following with staff: items from home, sanitizing, records, nutrition and medication. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 9:20 am and departed at 12:45 pm.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements not cover in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with the subsidy requirements. No violations were issued.
