Inspector Notes
Today an unannounced Renewal Inspection took place between the hours of 10:40am and 1:15pm. There were 6 classrooms observed with a total of 111 children with 17 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing outside in the 'mud kitchen', playing with play dough, creating pumpkin art, transitioning to eat lunch and other organized activities. There is an ample amount of supplies available and positive interactions between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, medication and emergency procedures were reviewed during this inspection. Violations were found during today?s inspection and can be viewed on the Violation Notice.
If you have any questions, please e-mail me at whitney.mcgrath@doe.virginia.gov. Thank you for your cooperation during the inspection.
