Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on May 15, 2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard 8VAC20-790-600-D-1
Based on record review and interview, the vendor failed to ensure that all staff who work directly with children shall have within 90 days of the date of employment current certification in CPR.
Evidence:
1) Staff #1 (date of hire: 01/09/2024) does not have current certification in CPR.
2) Staff #5 (date of hire: 01/23/2024) does not have current certification in CPR.
3) Staff #6 confirmed that Staff #1 and Staff #5 did not have current CPR certification.
Plan of Correction: We have reached out to the Red Cross to schedule a First Aid/ CPR class for our employees.
