Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/03/2022 between the hours of approximately 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. There were 43 children present, ranging in ages from 6 months and 4 years, with 8 staff supervising.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review, staff records did not contain all required information.
Evidence:
1) The record for Staff #1 did not contain documentation that a second reference as to character and reputation as well as competency was checked before employment.
Plan of Correction: Will obtain more references form Staff #1 to complete this. Moving forward, these will be obtained in the time required and checked off on form.
