Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:24 am-11:45am. At the time of entrance, 80 children were in care with 13 staff members present. Children were observed tracing, coloring, using scissors, gluing, listening to the teacher read a book, circle time, painting, working on a number worksheet and playing outside. The site was clean, organized and contained an abundant supply of developmentally appropriate materials. Walls, bulletin boards and several other areas of the programming space was decorated with artwork completed by the children Interactions between the children and staff were positive. A selection of staff and children records, the physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, injury reports, medications and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed.
