Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on May 9, 2024 between the hours of 9:20am-12:00pm. There were a total of 53 children with 12 supervising staff members present. Children were observed during circle time, toy play, and engaged in group activities. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Based on record review, required records were not kept for each staff person.
Evidence:
1. Staff #1's record (Date of hire-01/08/2024) did not contain documentation to demonstrate the individual possesses the education , certification, and experience required by the job position.
Plan of Correction: The center will obtain documentation of the staff member's education and document the record.
