Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on (04/10/2024. A tour of the facility was conducted, in addition to a record review and interviews with staff. The Inspector reviewed children and staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation the center did not ensure all documents required by the Superintendent were posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises.

Evidence:
The center did not have the findings of the last inspection posted on the licensed premises.
Plan of Correction: This was corrected the same day of inspection.

Based on observation the center did not ensure all required items were included in the center's first aid kit.

Evidence: The center's first aid kit did not have a working thermometer,
Plan of Correction: The director will check all first aid kits and emergency supplies to ensure all required items are included in them.

Based on observation the center did not ensure they had all required nonmedical emergency supplies.

Evidence:
The center did not have a working, battery-operated flashlight or a working, battery-operated radio in the building.
