Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 09/11/2024, as a part of licensure period) The on-site inspection began at 1:00pm and ended at 3:00pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 5 staff records. This inspection included a document review, tour of facility, interviews and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

An annual fire inspection is required from the appropriate fire official having jurisdiction.

The fire inspection provided by the director was dated 04/18/2023.
Plan of Correction: The director will contact the fire marshal and request an inspection.
Standard 8VAC20-780-270-A
Areas and equipment of the center are required to be maintained in a safe condition.

In the infant room there was peeling paint on the bottom of the door exiting the room.
Plan of Correction: A work order will be placed to have the peeling paint removed from the infant door.

An infant was observed in a crib that was not identified for use specific use by a child.
Plan of Correction: The director will ensure infant staff are ensuring cribs are identified for specific use by a child.
