Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:25 am to 12:15 pm. At the time of entrance, 4 children totaling 8 points were in care with the provider. The record sample size consisted of 5 children's records and the provider's record. The children in care were observed engaging with the provider and participating in free play. There have been no injuries since the last inspection and no medications are being administered at this time. Areas of noncompliance are noted in the violation narrative and were discussed with the provider during the exit meeting at the conclusion of the inspection.

Based on observation and interview it was determined the provider did not ensure that emergency numbers were posted in a visible area close to the telephone.
Evidence:
1. 911 and the emergency back up care provider's number was not posted.
2. Provider stated that it had been taken down when the kitchen was painted.
Plan of Correction: Provider posted emergency numbers.
