During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 9/20/2024 and completed on 9/23/2024as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 2pm and ended at 4pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 41 children present and 10 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site.

This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on October 31, 2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Daily activities for infants require outdoor time if weather and air quality allow based upon the Air Quality Color Code Chart as provided by the Department of Environmental Quality.
Children in the infant did not go outside at all during the day on 9/20/2024.
Plan of Correction: All staff have been retrained on outside time expectations, and the schoolwide Playground Schedule has been reposted in each classroom ? 9/21/24
Management will ensure teachers are taking children outside for both morning and afternoon scheduled times (weather permitting).

Daily activities for infants require infants, who cannot turn themselves over and are awake, shall be placed on their stomachs a total of 30 minutes each day to facilitate upper body strength and to address misshapen head concerns.
Child #1, a six month old, did not have documentation of having tummy time during the day on 9/20/2024.
Plan of Correction: All staff have been retrained on Tummy Time Activities and Procedures. A tummy time chart has been created and is used to document tummy time for individual children on a daily basis ? 9/21/24
Management will monitor documentation and implementation of tummy time throughout the day.
