Plan of Correction: Per the Center: "Upon discovery on 12/29/25, the expired ointments were immediately removed from the classroom and disposed of according to the company and licensing guidelines. We audited ointments and topical products. Teaching staff were re-trained on medication and topical skin products including checking expiration dates before use, proper storage requirements, and procedures for disposal of expired items. To prevent future recurrence, the following will be implemented: a monthly check of topical skin products will be conducted and documented. A designated leadership member will be responsible for monitoring compliance. Topical product procedures will be reviewed during new hire on-boarding and reinforced during ongoing training."
