Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. There were 10 children in care being supervised by 9 staff. The children were observed eating snack and participating in free-play and craft activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and four staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation and interviews it was determined that a written record of the arrival and departure of children was not documented for each group of children. Evidence: 1. There was no documented attendance for the five children in care in classroom three and classroom four.
Plan of Correction: The children in classroom three and four were documented on attendance records during the inspection.
