Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contact, documentation review, interview, and a virtual tour of the program.

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was initiated on 11/23/21 and concluded on 11/24/21. There were 37 children present with seven staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review and interview with the Director, the center did not ensure that all staff maintained current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Evidence: Eight staff CPR certificates were submitted for the inspection. Four of the certificates showed expiration dates of October 2021. The Director reported that these were the most current certificates for staff.
Plan of Correction: We have a CPR training scheduled for 12/2/2021 for staff who have expired.
