Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 03/21/2025 as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 12:45pm and ended at 2:30pm.The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements. There were19 children present and 8 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 staff records. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

There shall be at least 12 inches of space between occupied cots. The Discovery Preschool room had 5 children sleeping on cots that had about 9 inches of space between them where 12 inches was required.
Plan of Correction: The director will remind staff about cot spacing and will monitor for compliance.
