Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 08/06/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 12:30pm and ended at 2:00pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements.There were 118 children present and 18 staff. The inspector reviewed 6 children?s records and 3 staff records. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Staff are required to submit fingerprinting prior to employment. Staff C did not have documentation of having fingerprinting completed with the center.
Plan of Correction: The director did not realize that background checks from "sister schools" did not transfer. The staff is no longer employed at the center. In the future shared staff will have their own background checks through the center.

Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a condition.
In the cubby area in the toddler room there were 2 screws with at least 8 threads exposed protruding from just below the window sill.
Plan of Correction: The director will contact maintenance to have the screws cut down and capped.
