Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on July 9, 2024, from 9:15 AM until 11:00 AM. There were 71 children present, ranging in ages from 9 months to 5 years, with10 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the center did not ensure areas of the center, inside and outside, were maintained in a clean, safe, and operable condition.

Evidence: In the 2?s classroom, there was a rug that had fraying edges, posing a trip hazard for children.
Plan of Correction: An order for a new rug was placed.
