Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on March 3, 2023 and concluded on March 15, 2023. There were 31 chilen present with 7 staff superviing. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of three child records and three staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on staff interview and record review, the licensee did not ensure each staff member submit documentation of negative tuburclosis prior to employment with in 30days.

Evidence:
Staff #2 tuberculosis screening results did not have date reults were provided.
Plan of Correction: Staff will get an updated TB to refect correct date.
Standard 8VAC20-780-570-E
Based on staff interview and observation, the licensee did not ensure prepared infant formula will be refrigerated, dated and labeled with the child's name.

Evidence:
There were bottles in the infant room were not labeled with date and names on the date of the inspection. Confirmed with staff in the infant room.
Plan of Correction: Staff are given more the enough labels to ensure all bottles are labeled properly
