Inspector Notes
A complaint inspection was initiated on February 16, 2024 11:35 am - 1:10pm and complaint concluded February 29, 2024 . The complaint was in regards to staffing and supervision and behavior guidance. Staff interviews, classroom observations, video footage and documentation were reviewed. The portions of the complaint in regard to staffing and supervision was deemed VALID.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on video footage, staff interview and documentaiton, the licensee did not ensure staff to child ratio was 1:5 for 16 months up to 24 months.
Evidence:
- Video footage reviewed on February 15, 2024, Staff #1 was left alone in the toddler classroom from approximatley 3:00pm to 3:20pm with 8 children freely playing.
- The Toddler ratio should be 1 staff to 5 children.

Plan of Correction: Staff have been retrained on procedures to maintain proper ratios. Staff will notify management immediatley when ratio is not mer. Management will also contiusly monitor classrooms and transition times to ensure ratios are met.
