Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/13/2022 from approximately 11:45 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. There were 86 children present ranging in ages from 3 months to pre-school age and 15 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, qualifications and training, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies, and nutrition. A total of 9 child records and 6 staff records were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined violations with applicable standards or law. A violation notice was issued.

Based on staff record review, the provider failed to ensure that two of six staff members completed the Virginia Department of Education-sponsored orientation course within 90 calendar days of employment.
