Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 6/3/25 and completed on the same day, as a part of licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:20 and ended at 11:15. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 10 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 25. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 2 caregiver/household members records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-200-C
Documentation of the orientation shall be signed and dated by the provider and substitute provider or by the provider and assistant.

The assistants file does not have any record of orientation received.
Plan of Correction: I will make sure we have monthly drills, May got away from me because of all the rain.
Standard 8VAC20-800-830-A
The emergency evacuation drill shall be practiced monthly.

The May 2025 emergency evacuation drill was not conducted.
Plan of Correction: I did the orientation but did not write it down, I will make sure that we write it done on the form.
