Inspector Notes
The Licensing Inspector initiated and completed an unannounced renewal inspection on 1/30/2023. The inspector was on site from 10:00am until 1:15pm.
There were 70 children under the care of 13 staff. The ages of the children ranged from four months to five years old. The children were observed during indoor free play, mealtime, and naptime. Six children?s record and four staff records and four board members were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
4Evidence: Staff #1, hire date of 10/22/2021 had fingerprint eligibility letter was dated 11/01/2022.
Evidence: In the classroom #1 there was a Swiffer mop with a bottle of cleaning chemicals attached for use. Under the cabinet, which was locked, there was cleaning chemicals in the same area as food.
In classroom #7, there was food on the same shelf as the cleaning product. Staff #1 stated the food belonged to them and not the children

Evidence: Observed non-measurable amount
of resilient surfacing under the required fall
zone. The required amount is 6 inches of
resilient surfacing.
Evidence: Staff #2 who was hired on 08/17/2022 did not have reference checks documented on file until 09/21/2022. Staff #4 who was hired on 11/21/2022 did not have reference checks documented on file until 11/22/2022.
