Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 11-12-2024 and completed on 11-18-2024. The on-site inspection began at 3:30pm and ended at 5:00pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 28 children present and 5staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site and electronically on 11-8-2024. This inspection included document review tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 11-27-2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

When centers choose to provide meals or snacks a menu listing food to be served for meals and snacks during the current one-week. The meu posted was for October.

Standard 8VAC20-780-80-A
For each group of children, the center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. The attendance sheet in 3 out of 3 classrooms did not have accurate attendance, room#1 had 6 children present and 7 were marked present, room #2 had 4 children present and 7 were marked present and in room #3 4 children were present and 14 were marked present.
