Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 11:50am-12:50pm. There were 61 children in the direct care and supervision of 15 staff. A sample of 4 children?s records, and 4 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed playing, eating lunch, washing hands and napping. Three new staff have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the director. Based on observation, hazardous substances such as cleaning materials were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence:
Cleaning supplies were located in an unlocked cabinet in the bathroom of the "Toddlers" room.
Plan of Correction: Cleaning supplies were moved to a locked cabinet.
