Inspector Notes

An unannounced inspection was conducted during the time 12;50-1:45. There were 19 children with 6 staff supervising the children and 2 administrative staff available. Emergency drills, medication procedures, injury prevention, and staff training documents were reviewed. Classrooms, supervision, and nap were also reviewed. Please call with questions 703 479-4679.

Based on observation, it was determined there was equipment inside that was not maintained in operable or safe condition.
Evidence:
1. A cabinet handle was not securely fastened to the cabinet door and was missing a screw to hold it in place.
Plan of Correction: We can fix the handle ourselves but will request maintenance come in and check all cabinets.
