Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 6/3/24. A review of staff personnel files was conducted by inspectors, Keesha Minor, Jessica Willis, Sarah Zirzow and Mahrukh Aziz at the Campagna office. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on records review, staff orientation did not include all required components.
Evidence: Reviewed 4 staff records and found that Staff # 1 and Staff # 2 did not have documentation of all the required facility topics listed in the standards as of 10/13/2021, i.e. safe sleep, procedures to cope with crying babies or distraught children.?
Plan of Correction: The Child Care Virginia Orientation Written Policy form will be used by the Early Childhood Program staff at Campagna Center. The form will be provided to current and newly hired employees. All staff have redone orientation using the current form.
