Inspector Notes
An unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place on 01/03/2023 between the hours of approximately 10:50 a.m. and 1:05 p.m. There were 7 classrooms observed with a total of 104 children with 15 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed on the playground, playing with manipulatives, practicing writing skills and other organized activities. Positive interaction between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, and medication were observed during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Violations
4Evidence:
1. Staff #6 was on the playground with 10 children from approximately 11:19 a.m. -11:32 a.m.
2. When asked who the youngest child on the playground was, Staff #6 stated that the youngest child was Child #2 (age: 2 years).
Evidence: The allergy list in the Toddlers classroom was posted, uncovered, on the outside of a cabinet door.
Evidence: In the Beginners classroom, Child #6 was observed walking around while drinking water from a blue cup.
Evidence: In the Infant 1 classroom, Staff #5 was observed bottle feeding Child #7 and Child #8 as they lay on a boppy pillow.
