Inspector Notes
An unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place on 07/20/2023 between the hours of approximately 2:35 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. There were 7 classrooms observed with a total of 91 children with 15 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed participating in Funtastic Fitness (outside vendor), eating snack, listening to stories during circletime, painting and other organized activities. Positive interaction between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, medication and emergency procedures was conducted during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Violations
3Evidence:
1. A healing ointment belonging to Child #6 expired in July 2022.
2. An eczema cream belonging to Child #7 expired in April 2023.
Evidence: In the Beginners classroom, there were three diaper creams in bins located on the shelf directly above the toilet, accessible to children.
Evidence: Child #8 (age: 20 months) was observed eating a pretzel while walking around in the carpet area of the Toddlers classroom.
