Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal Inspection took place on March 27, 2024 between the hours of approximately 9:00 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. There were 7 classrooms observed with a total of 88 children with 17 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed dancing, reading books, counting and naming colors in Spanish, participating in circle time and other organized activities. Positive interaction between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, fire drill log, medication and emergency procedures was conducted during this inspection. 6 staff records and 8 children's records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review, the center did not obtain all information for 2 out of 8 children's records.

Evidence:
1. Child #6's (start date: 2/12/2024) record was missing a phone number for emergency contact #2.
2. Child #8's (start date: 8/29/2022) record was missing a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact #2.
Plan of Correction: Start date was corrected right away. Emer. contact was corrected at pick-up.
