During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above, to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated on November 22, 2024 and completed on November 26, 2024. This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol. The inspection began at 1pm and ended at 2:30pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 7 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 14. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 2 caregivers electronically on November 26, 2024.This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-250-C
Items tied across the top or corner of a crib shall be removed when the child begins to push up on hands and knees or is five months of age, whichever occurs first. The one crib in the classroom had a mobile toy across the top of the crib and is used for a child that is 7 months old.
Plan of Correction: The provider responded with the following: Provider stated that the mother brought the toy for the crib. The toy was removed and will be given back to the parent.
