Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on May 27, 2021 and concluded on May 27, 2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 12 children present and 10 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed three children?s records and three staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs

1Evidence:
The record for Staff #1 (hire date 8/28/01) contained a negative tuberculosis screening dated 09/05/2018. A member of management stated Staff #1 has an appointment scheduled on 6/01/2021 to have an updated tuberculosis screening. The member of management stated the staff did not return to in person learning until March 2021 and is not sure why the tuberculosis screening was not completed during the required time frame.
