Inspector Notes
An investigation in response into a self reported incident was initiated on July 11, 2023 and concluded on August 22, 2023. The self report was regards to behavior guidance. Staff were interviewed, video footage was reviewed and record was reviewed.
There was evidence of noncomplaince. A violation was issued.

Based on staff interview and video footage the licensee did not ensure behavioral guidance shall be constructive in nature, age and stage appropriate, and shall be intended to redirect children to appropriate behavior and resolve conflicts
EVIDENCE :
Staff #1 indicated that child #1 dumped blocks and ran off laughing like cat and mouse. Staff #1 said she grabbed child #1 and said you better help me pick them up. Child #1 tried to snatch away.
Video footage of incident shows Child #1 dumped a box of blocks and ran around the room. Staff #1 is picking up the area. Child #1 goes back to the block area next to Staff #1. Staff #1 pulls child by the arm towards her.
