Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was completed. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. The children were observed cleaning up, getting ready to go outside, and engaged in outdoor play. The inspection started at 9:10am and concluded at 10:40am.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of records, the licensee did not ensure that staff who work directly with children annually complete the health and safety update course.
Evidence: The records for Staff #1 and #2 contained documentation of the most recent health and safety update course that was dated more than one year ago (Staff #1 3/8/2022; Staff #2 2/25/2022)
