Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on September 28, 2022. There were fourteen children present with two staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and two staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, facility did not ensure hazardous substance are kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence: Cleaning and sanitizing substances were observed stored on top of a cabinet in the classroom, on a open shelf in the bathroom and on top of the paper towel disposal. Items were labeled with "Caution or Warnings" and "keep out of reach of children".
Plan of Correction: Items were moved to locked cabinet.
