Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on March 20, 2024. This on-site visit was conducted from 11:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. There were 102 children, ages 1-5, in the care of 14 staff. Five children and five staff records were reviewed.

It was determined that the center?s safe sleeping practices are not in compliance with all safe sleep guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. The center was provided a document listing the APA?s safe sleep guidelines.

Based on observation the center was not in compliance with all safe sleep guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Evidence:
1. In the infant room one child was observed in a crib napping with a blanket.
2. Staff stated the safe sleep policy prohibited blankets in cribs.
