During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 11/20/24 and completed on the same date, as a part of licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:20 and ended at 11:45. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 24 children present and 4 classroom staff, 2 co-op parents and an administrator. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 staff records on site. This inspection included, document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-510-I
Prescription medication must be in the original container with the prescription label indicating the name of the child and the dose of the medication.

An emergency medication is not in the original box, but in a plastic bag with the child's name written on it.
Plan of Correction: We will ask the parent for the medication box with the label attached.
Standard 8VAC20-780-70
Staff shall have two references.

A staff member does not have any references in the file.
Plan of Correction: We had a change in management and believe the references were done at time of hire, however we will do them again because we had all our cloud information erased.
