During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on July 24, 2025 and completed on July 24, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 12:40 p.m. and ended at 12:55 p.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above.There were no children present at the time of the inspection. All children and staff were on a fieldtrip. The inspector reviewed children?s records and staff records on June 23, 2025. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on August 1, 2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

If sunscreen is used, the sunscreen shall be in the original container and labeled with the child's name. There were five sunscreen containers on a table in the classroom that had no child's name on them.
Plan of Correction: Returned sunscreen to parents who provided it and asked for it to be labeled.
Standard 8VAC20-780-580-I
Before leaving on a field trip, a schedule of the trip's events and locations shall be posted and visible at the center site. There was nothing posted at the center advising the location of the students who were all on a fieldtrip at the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: Reiterated this process to staff.
