Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews (if applicable) and a virtual tour of the program (if applicable).

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 09/16/2021. There were 20 children present with 3 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of three staff records and confirmation from the program manager, one staff member did not have current CPR and first aid training.

Evidence:
1. The record for Staff Member #2 contained CPR and first aid certification dated 05/18/2019. The training expired in May 2021.
2. The program manager confirmed that Staff Member #2's CPR and first aid certification had expired.
Plan of Correction: The center has CPR and first aid training scheduled for 09/22/2021 and the staff member will get recertified at that time.
