Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:25am-10:20am. There were 7 children directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating breakfast. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Evidence:
The Provider did not have a carbon monoxide detector in the Family Day Home.
Plan of Correction: We will install a carbon monoxide detector immediately.
