Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was completed on February 27, 2023 at the center. There were 65 children present, ranging from infancy to preschool ages with 14 staff supervising and administrative staff on site. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 6 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation and interview, the center did not ensure to staff to children ratios are followed whenever children are in care.

Evidence: In the Infant room, there was observation of a 2:10 staff to children ratio during the inspection. Interview with staff confirmed the staff to children ratio followed.

Based on review of documentation and interview, the center did not ensure to practice all monthly evacuation drill.
