An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today.
There were 12 children present with three staff supervising.
The children were resting and playing outdoors.
Two child records and two staff records were reviewed.

Based on the review of two staff files, the facility failed to ensure that all employees have a central registry background check on file within 30 days of employment.
Evidence:
1. There is no central registry background check on file for staff #1. Hire date 9-15-22
Plan of Correction: The program director will ensure that all employees complete all required background checks within the required timeframe.
