During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 10/10/2025 and completed on 10/22/2025. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 26 children present and 2 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 (all) staff records electronically on 10/22/2025. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 22.1-289.011-F
The license and any other documents required by the Superintendent must be posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises.
The results of the last licensing inspection, which are required to be posted visibly were not posted.
Plan of Correction: The inspection was misplaced. It will be printed and posted today.
Standard 8VAC20-780-240-A
(Repeat Violation) Staff are required to complete the Virginia Department of Education-sponsored orientation course within 90 calendar days of employment.
Staff #1 has not completed the Virginia Department of Education-sponsored orientation course, which was overdue by more than 4 months.
Staff #2 has not completed the Virginia Department of Education-sponsored orientation course, which was overdue by over 5 months.
Staff #3 has not completed the Virginia Department of Education-sponsored orientation course, which was overdue by 1 year and 4 months.
Plan of Correction: It is possible that staff #1,2 and 3 have completed the Virginia Preservice Training and did not turn in their certificates. Staff will be asked to turn in certificates if the training has been completed or to complete the course and turn in their certificates of completion within 30 days.
