Long-term prescription drug use and over-the- counter medication may be allowed with written authorization from the child's physician and parent.
The centers policy states daily or emergency prescription medication must have a parent and physician complete the medication form. The form for Child A did not have authorization from a physician. The form for Child B did not have authorization from a parent.
