Inspector Notes

An unannounced mandated inspection was conducted from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
There were 7 children ages 4 and 5 in care with three teachers supervising. Children were observed in the classroom lining up to go the the gym, playing in the gym, walking back from the gym, and getting ready for lunch back in the classroom.
Five children's records were reviewed.
The inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the center had a nonprescription medication that was not i the original container with the direction label attached.
Evidence:
1. There was Benadryl that at the center and it was not in the original container with the direction label attached.
Plan of Correction: Staff will ask of the parent to bring the medication in with the original label.
