Inspector Notes

An unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place between the hours of 9:40 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. There were three classrooms observed with a total of 30 children with three staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed washing hands, preparing for lunch, listening to a story during circle time and returning from yoga class. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, medication and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, areas and equipment of the center inside were not maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.

Evidence:
1. Plastic trash can in preschool room 4A was observed to have jagged edges around the rim.
2. Peeling paint was observed on the wall next to the paper towel dispenser in preschool room 4B.
Plan of Correction: Provider corrected on the same day of inspection.
