Inspector Notes
An inspection was conducted on August 15, 2023 in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing office on 08/09/2023. Interviews were conducted with three staff . Two staff and one children's record was reviewed. The information gathered during the investigation does not support the allegations, so the complaint is determined to be not valid. Other areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice.

Based on record review the center failed to have one staff member complete the Virginia Department of Education sponsored orientation course within 90 days of employment.
Evidence:
1. Two staff records were reviewed.
2. Staff # 2 did not have documentation of completing the Virginia Department of Education's sponsored orientation course within 90 days of employment.
3. Staff #2's date of hire was documented 04/24/2023.
4. The director confirmed there was no documentation for Staff #2 completing the Virginia Department of Education's orientation within 90 days of employments.

Plan of Correction: After continuing to try and locate her certificate and not being able to access it I had her retake the class.
