Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 12/07/2023 from 9:50 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. There were 100 children present, ranging in ages from three months to five years olds with 19 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of records, the center failed to ensure that each staff member completes the department?s health and safety update annually.
Evidence:
1. Staff #5 last completed the department?s health and safety update on 05/23/2022. Staff #13 confirmed there was evidence on file that Staff #5 had completed the departments health and safety update annually.
Plan of Correction: Have all staff complete training as soon as possible.
