Inspector Notes
Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on May 18, 2022 from 10:15 am through 12:00 pm. Upon arrival, there were 28 children ranging in ages from 3 through 5 with 5 staff supervising. Three children records were reviewed. Annual review of staff records will be reviewed at a later scheduled date.
Areas observed were: handwashing procedures, story time, lunch, transition and nap. Children appear to be well aware of the daily routine and schedule. There were a variety of educational materials in the classrooms. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice.

Violations
3Evidence:
1. Carbon Monoxide detectors were observed unopened in a closet in Classroom #1.
2. The staff confirmed the carbon monoxide detectors were not installed.
Evidence:
1. One can of shaving cream was observed in a unlocked cabinet about the sink children in Classroom #1.
2. There is a lock on the cabinet but it was not secured.
3. The teacher confirmed the shaving cream was in an unlocked cabinet.
Staff in Classroom #2 immediately locked the cabinet that contained their purses.
Evidence:
1. Three staff purses were in an unlocked cabinet in Classroom #2.
2. Staff confirmed the purses were not in a locked cabinet.
