Inspector Notes

An unannounced code compliance inspection was initiated on and concluded on January 29, 2024. There were 24 children present, ranging in ages from 3 to 5, with 5 staff supervising. Additional administrative staff were present. A total of 7 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 11:05 AM and concluded at 12:20 PM. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable code sections and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on staff interviews, the center did not ensure handwashing by staff and children occurred before eating.

Evidence: Center Staff in the 3 year old room verified the children use hand sanitizer before eating and not always do they wash their hands which is a required established procedure that is to be implemented.
