Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-780-245-J-3
Based on a review of records and staff interview, children with emergency medications were not always in the care of a staff member who meets the requirements for Medication administration training.

Evidence:
1. Staff #1 had a MAT training certificate that expired on 2/26/2022. There were no other staff on-site with MAT training during the inspection.
2. There were children present who had been prescribed emergency medications on-site during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: One staff member has already took part 1 of the MAT training and will complete part 2 soon and receive the MAT certification.
