A monitoring inspection was conducted on 05/18/2022. There were 52 children present and 10 staff. The Inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 2 staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation the center did not ensure all hazardous substances were kept in a locked place.
Evidence:
In the large shared room, there was a bottle of disinfectant wipes and a spray bottle with disinfectant on a cart in reach of children.

Plan of Correction: The chemicals were removed during the inspection. The director will ensure they are stored in a locked place.

Based on observation the center did not ensure f hazardous substances are not kept in original containers, the substitute containers shall clearly indicate their contents.

In the large room there was a spray bottle on a cart that contained a blue liquid substance and was not labeled in a way to indicate its content.

Plan of Correction: The bottle was removed from the room. The spray bottle will be labeled indicating it contents before returning to the classroom.
